Hy-Tek Acquires Conveying Solutions and Allied Conveyor

The acquisition is expected to boost Hy-Tek’s 2014 revenues to $95 million, an increase of $15 million over 2013 sales.

Hy-Tek Material Handling, Inc. acquired Atlanta, Georgia-based Conveying Solutions, Inc. and Allied Conveyor Systems, effective immediately. Together, the two companies form the Atlanta office of Hy-Tek’s Integrated Systems Division. According to Hy-Tek’s CEO Sam Grooms, the acquisition is expected to boost Hy-Tek’s 2014 revenues to $95 million, an increase of $15 million over 2013 sales of $80 million. Columbus-based Hy-Tek provides material handling systems for industries including manufacturing, distribution, retail, pharmaceutical, food, electronics, and automotive.
