A Customs-Trade Partnership Against Terrorism (C-TPAT) Enrollment Seminar, aimed at the Mexican and Canadian highway and manufacturing sectors of the program, will be held at the Embassy Suites Hotel in Laredo, Texas, January 31 to February 2. An enrollment seminar previously scheduled for San Diego has been postponed indefinitely.

The aim of the seminar is to provide general information to those contemplating joining C-TPAT, and to assist those ready to join the program in the application process. Emphasis is on northern and southern land border segments of C-TPAT that can participate in the Free and Secure Trade (FAST) program. Specifically, that includes U.S. importers with a related party Mexican company, Mexican manufacturers, Mexican related party companies of U.S. C-TPAT importers, highway carriers and Canadian manufacturers that have already received invitation letters to join C-TPAT.

CBP will also be presenting a 2006 Supply Chain Security Training seminar for C-TPAT certified partners. The training will take place in Costa Mesa, Calif. on March 1 to 3.
