Green drives Jaguar to continue with CHEP

July 12, 2010
The desire to save the capital required to purchase and maintain its own containers was enough reason for Jaguar Land Rover to extend its contract with CHEP in Europe for its small box KLT Full Service and the large folding stillage FXC Managed Service. Environmental sustainability was also a factor. CHEP containers are continually recycled across the supply chain.

"Jaguar Land Rover's decision to continue using the CHEP pooling system is a clear statement that environmental issues are a key concern for the car maker,” said David Mayo, director European key accounts for CHEP Automotive Europe.

CHEP will continue to serve Jaguar Land Rover's Halewood, Solihull and Castle Bromwich plants in the UK.
