International Demand Drives UPS Freighter Order

The UPS order for $3.8 billion worth of freighter aircraft is necessary to keep pace with international traffic demand and fleet renewal, according to the company. UPS was the launch customer for the 767 freighter in 1995, says Air Transport World. The 300ERF is an extended-range freighter with a maximum payload of 132,200 pounds and a range of 3,000 nautical miles (3,600 miles).
