Kenco Logistic Services Adds Space

Kenco Logistic Services reported a record-breaking first quarter, placing 1,950,000 square feet of modern, climate-controlled warehouse space under third-party management.

The added warehouse space brings Kenco's current total to 22 million square feet in facilities across North America.

Gary Mayfield, chairman and CEO of Kenco Logistic Services, LLC, said "New warehouse operations are providing complete logistics services for consumer goods manufacturers ranging from kitchen and bath products to vacuum cleaner and small appliance parts. Facilities are located in California, Ohio, and Kentucky. We have also expanded our route delivery services into Canada, and I am pleased to report that so far in 2008 an additional 2 million square feet has been contracted."

"This new business comes from existing clients Electrolux and Stryker, plus new Kenco customers Honeywell, Kohler, and Mervyns Department Store,” Mayfield added.
