The rift between Kansas City Southern (KSC) and Mexico’s railroad holding company TMM, it has not affected the operations of railways company Transportación Ferroviaria Mexicana (TFM).

KCS filed a preliminary injunction against TMM when TMM chairman Jose Serrano unilaterally cancelled the sale of TFM to KCS. At present, executives of both companies are still discussing the cancellation, as all government permits had been cleared, and KSC has the money ready to be transferred.

TFM’s business manager, Juan Ignacio Lopez, says that the three connections of the railroad to the United States are operating regularly, including the connection it has with KCS and Canadian companies.
