Yellow Roadway Corp., the holding company for one of the world's largest portfoliosof transportation services companies, has changed its name to
YRC Worldwide Inc. The new name, according to Bill Zollars, the company's chairman, president and CEO, is part of a strategy to emphasize YRC's global logistics capabilities.
The company's individual brands remain unchanged: Yellow Transportation, Roadway Express, Reimer Express, USF Holland, USF Reddaway, USF Bestway, USF Glen Moore, New Penn Motor Express and Meridian IQ.
