Intelligrated is placing a big bet in its one-level shuttle system. The shuttle handles totes and cartons, providing easy access to a wide variety of product types and sizes in a reduced footprint for goods-to-operator fulfillment, product sequencing and buffering, and just-in-time inventory management applications.
Intelligrated Vice President of Integrated Systems Sales and Strategy Chris Lingamfelter says it is suited to be companies' primary storage structure, and may draw strong interest from e-commerce companies.
