Electro Kinetic Technologies has introduced the Pony Express 1061 LITHIUM and 1061-HD LITHIUM electric tuggers, which are able to pull or push a load of up to 1,500 lbs (680 kg) and 2,000 lbs (907 kg), respectively.
They feature lithium iron phosphate swappable battery packs which allow for 24/7 operation. The battery pack weighs less than 34 lbs (15 kg) but delivers the performance of a 40 AH lithium iron phosphate battery and has UN38.3 certification allowing for global safe transport. With Bluetooth compatibility and a smartphone monitoring app, the battery pack will alert when its charge is low.
The tuggers can be hitched to a variety of carts with a compact design to navigate tight and narrow spaces safely. The ergonomically designed tiller head is adjustable, allowing each operator’s correct height.
