The first phase of iGit enterprises’ online supply community, the www.e4score.com website, will go-live in August, 2004. Each of e4score’s information management/sharing and business process solutions will enable supply community partners to work together to overcome persistent distribution problems, such as identifying the highest-value carriers for a distribution network, carrier network balancing (including CPU for private fleets), pick-up and delivery appointment management, and shipment document distribution and archiving.

Four capabilities will be launched in the first phase:

* Carrier Search and Discovery (Real-time e-RFI): Member truckload carriers (for-hire and private fleets) can submit, maintain and continuously update a comprehensive e-request for information profile, comprised of essential carrier data including capabilities, capacity and network imbalances. Any e4score member registered as a “shipper” can search the RFI-database anytime to discover carriers that can meet their network’s tactical and strategic needs.
* Document Management: Member carriers can post proof-of-delivery documents and customs brokers can post import entry summary documents on e4score.
* Community Forum: Guests and members can participate in group discussions. For example, carriers serving a difficult ship location could share ideas on how to reduce wait times.
* EZ Links: Guests and members can use this comprehensive web portal of leading logistics websites, including media, government, associations, manufacturers, retailers and logistics providers, to quickly find the information they need.

The only up-front charge is the $100 annual membership fee. All other fees are transaction-based and charged to the party that benefits from the transaction.

Additional capabilities to follow Phase 1 include pick-up and delivery appointment management, customer pick-up/backhaul program management, performance reporting and improvement, and gainshare incentive programs.
