Mettler Toledos retail scale designed to aid grocery customers

The Mettler Toledo 8442 integrated scale and printer better addresses retail grocers’ weighing and labeling needs. The networkable 8442 incorporates a large, tower display featuring dual, easy to read, reversed LCD displays.

The first line is a seven segment 19 character display for weight and unit price information, while the second line features dot matrix 24 character alpha capability for product descriptions and marquee message capabilities to grab greater customer attention.

The integrated printer features large label capacity and slides out for optimal access and easy label loading. The scale printer contains default label formats for all specified label types and sizes, and custom label format capability.
