The MX3-RFID is an RFID-enabled handheld computer from LXE Inc., based on LXE's Windows CE-based horizontal half-screen wireless computer, the MX3-CE.

The MX3-RFID is an RFID-enabled handheld computer from LXE Inc., based on LXE's Windows CE-based horizontal half-screen wireless computer, the MX3-CE. The new unit is equipped with radio (802.11b) communications capabilities and is capable of reading both bar codes and RFID tags.

The unit includes an EPC-compliant, class 0 (read only) and class 1 (write once, read many) tag reader that is fully protected in a very low-profile enclosure in the rear of the unit.
