Lock Prevents VRC Carriage Falls [New Products]

The optional SafeLock system from Wildeck prevents accidental descent of the raised carriage in a vertical reciprocating conveyor. The system provides a heavy-duty steel lock at each VRC column and the locks automatically engage when the VRC arrives at an upper level.  This added level of safety exceeds the requirements of the VRC industry standard: ANSI/ASME B 20.1 Safety Standards for Conveyors. It is pneumatically actuated and requires an 80 PSI air supply.  An electrically actuated version is also available.
