Not a day goes by without a report on companies being victimized by cybersecurity.
In April of this year, the Federal Bureau of Investigation’s Internet Crime Complaint Center released the 2024 Internet Crime Report, which found that cybersecurity losses exceeded $16 billion, which is a 33% increase from 2023.
This was based on 859,532 complaints of suspected internet crime.
The top three cyber crimes, by number of complaints reported by victims in 2024, were phishing/spoofing, extortion, and personal data breaches.
With this substantial increase, MH&L wants to know how our readers are dealing with this issue.
