Ryder Revenues up 11% in Fourth Quarter

Revenues for Ryder System Inc. reached $1.36 billion in the fourth quarter of 2004, an 11% increase over the same period in 2003. Full-year revenues were $5.15 billion, a 7% improvement over 2003

Revenues for Ryder System Inc. reached $1.36 billion in the fourth quarter of 2004, an 11% increase over the same period in 2003. Full-year revenues were $5.15 billion, a 7% improvement over 2003.

Ryder’s Fleet Management Services (FMS) made a major contribution to overall earnings. Fourth-quarter revenues were $950.6 million, up 17% over the 2003 period. Revenue excluding fuel was $719.4 million, up 10%.

The Supply Chain Solutions (SCS) segment increased revenues 5% to $367.4 million.
