FedEx Freight Expands and Offers Proactive Exceptions Notice

• Avon, Mass., where a 32-door center on three acres replaces a 20-door facility. It will be of primary service to Boston and its surrounding metropolitan area.
• Grand Rapids, Mich., where a new 16,000 square-foot center increased the number of doors to 48, up from 36 in an older facility it replaces.
• Staunton, Va. replaces an older 10-door center with a new 36-door facility to serve eastern portions of West Virginia in addition to the Harrisonburg and Charlottesville areas.
• Wilmington, NC, with a new 17-door facility replacing an older 10-door center that had been located in Leland.
• New Haven, Conn., with a 49-door center replacing an older one that had 30 doors. In addition to serving southern Connecticut, the center will handle business from New York and Rhode Island.
