The Association for Automatic Identification and Mobility (AIM) has announced that AIM Expo 2011, to take place September 26-28 at the Las Vegas Hilton will co-locate with Pack Expo. This year's theme is Automatic identification and mobility solutions: Advancing knowledge, exploring technology and driving efficiency.
Following the launch in 2010 of AIM Expo, the Association formed an agreement with PMMI (producers of Pack Expo) to promote the two events for attendees of both shows. Pack Expo Las Vegas, one of the longest running exhibitions within the packaging market, draws 25,000 attendees to its annual event, held alternate years in Las Vegas and Chicago.
The AIM Expo conference provides educational opportunities for those just beginning to explore and learn about automatic identification technologies like bar code, RFID, RTLS and enterprise mobile computing, as well as providing updates about applications which are emerging. AIM Expo will also add a packaging track this year.
This year's Pack Expo Leadership Lecture will be delivered by General Colin Powell, on Tuesday, September 27, 2011.
