Jib Cranes for Many Applications

Nov. 24, 2010
Ingersoll Rand’s new Jib Crane products (275, 350, 550 and 1100-pound capacity), are designed to meet overhead support needs, particularly those with limited headroom height. They represent common configurations needed for every-day lifting problems.

The no tie-rod design supports both air balancers and hoist applications. Jib cranes with the rail option use precision aluminum Ingersoll Rand enclosed track rail for the boom, resulting in an ergonomic, lightweight boom with best-in-class rolling resistance. High impact, durable polymer roller wheel design delivers smooth and easy rotation around the column. Standard flange I-Beam and enclosed track rail are rugged and reliable.

These new jib cranes can be paired with a wide variety of powered or manual hoists or balancers. Whether applications require a beam clamp, an I-Beam trolley, or a rail trolley, the 360° rotation jibs are a flexible solution.
