NEW YORK—About 1,500 ergonomics and safety decision makers from Apple, Bayer, ConAgra, eBay, FedEx, GE, GM, HP, Johnson & Johnson, Kaiser Permanente, Lockheed Martin, Microsoft, UAW, U.S. Departments of Energy and Labor, Walt Disney, Wells Fargo, and more, are expected to attend the National Ergonomics Conference and Exposition (NECE) at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas, Nov. 27-30.
The conference offers more than 85 educational programs, including two new tracks: “Safety & Ergonomics” and “Workplace Health & Wellness.” Additional conference tracks include “Ergonomics & Workers’ Comp Program Management,” “Industrial Ergonomics & Material Handling,” “Design & Ergonomics” and “Ergonomics & the Aging Workforce.”
American Express, Boeing, Chevron, CVS Pharmacy, General Mills, JetBlue, Liberty Mutual, Mayo Clinic, and others will be sharing the latest research and workplace success stories.
Keynote speakers include Ford Brewer, medical director, North America at Toyota Co.; Alan Hedge, director of the human factors and ergonomics lab at Cornell University; and Michael Melnik, president of Prevention Plus Inc.
In addition, 100 exhibitors will unveil numerous products at the expo taking place Nov. 28-30 in the Augustus Ballroom at Caesars Palace. 3M, BakkerElkhuizen, Ergotech Group, Fellowes, Herman Miller, Humanscale, Molecular BioProducts, Plantronics, WorkRite Ergonomics and others will be competing in the 6th annual NECE Attendees’ Choice New Product Awards.
