OSHKOSH, Wis.-To mark National Safety Month in June, JLG Industries will be holding a contest to award a LiftPod portable aerial work platform to one lucky winner.
The contest will be free and open to any worker or manager who uses a ladder or elevated work platform for jobs done at heights. It will run from June 1 to June 30 at the company Web site: www.liftpod.com.
The LiftPod was designed as a replacement for the ladder, providing workers with a 14-foot working height, the ability to work with both hands and the convenience of using a common 18-volt drill or optional power pack.
The LiftPod platform holds 330 pounds, moves easily on wheels and may be quickly assembled. Lightweight, JLG says it’s a quarter of the cost and weight of an entry-level aerial work platform. Access is secure, allowing work as high as 14 feet.
