SICK (Minneapolis), manufacturer of sensors, safety systems and automatic identification products for factory and logistics automation, has announced a partnership with OCS Checkweighers (Snellville, Ga.), a manufacturer of dynamic in-motion-weighing technology.
The combination of OCS’ in-motion-weighing technology and automatic identification products from SICK provide a base for dimensioning, weighing and scanning for automated revenue recovery and revenue protection in the parcel/postal industry and other industries.
Under this exclusive agreement, SICK and OCS Checkweighers will partner to deliver integrated in-motion-weighing solutions for the logistics industry with a focus on parcel companies and postal applications for the North American market. SICK will provide sales, project management and technical support for these installations.
