The Pepsi Bottling Group, Inc. (PBG, Somers, N.Y.) says it has completed its acquisition of Pepsi-Cola Bottling Company of Charlotte, N.C. The business is contiguous to PBG's existing territories and serves all or a portion of eight counties in North Carolina. Its operations include a manufacturing plant and warehouse in Charlotte, and two additional warehouses in Cherryville and Midland, N.C.
Terms of the transaction, which closed on September 30, were not disclosed.
The Pepsi Bottling Group, Inc. is the world's largest manufacturer, seller and distributor of Pepsi-Cola beverages with operations in the U.S., Canada, Greece, Mexico, Russia, Spain and Turkey.
