NAPLES, Fla.—The Conveyor Equipment Manufacturers Association (CEMA) reported its September booked orders index increased 54% from the August index. The September index increased 11% from the previous year.
The 12-month index for booked orders represents an increase of 1% from August’s 12-month index, according to CEMA.
CEMA also said the shipments index was 150 in September, down 1% from August’s index of 152. The September index represents a decrease of 2% from the index one year ago.
The 12-month index for shipments was 146 in September, the same as August’s 12-month index.
