(Plano, Texas), a logistics technology and transportation management services provider, has announced that the 2007 Shipper Symposium & User Forum will be held at the Frisco Convention Center in Frisco, Texas, April 24 to 26. The fifth annual event continues to provide a forum where shippers, carriers, analysts and other transportation and logistics professionals share information about real-world solutions for technology efficiencies, capacity and the emerging topic of globalization.
Leaders from best-in-class organizations will present and discuss a wide range of important topics related to the transportation and logistics industries. Some examples of the extensive collection of subjects that will be addressed include: driving pervasive business intelligence and performance management, best practices in global operations, supply chain infrastructure issues and security, the on-demand tipping point and more.
This year, the event has attracted many influential and distinguished speakers including Pat Byrne, global managing partner from Accenture; Beth Enslow, senior vice president for the Aberdeen Group; Asa Hutchinson, CEO of the Hutchinson Group, LLC and Michael Regan, CEO & Chairman of the Board of Tranzact Technologies, Inc. They will all speak to certain aspects of the 3PL and transportation industry, which will provide useful expert insight. In addition, Transplace executives will provide an update on the state of the 3PL industry, as well as projected trends for the future.
