READING, Pa.—Industrial battery manufacturer and distributor EnerSys announced it has signed a memorandum of understanding with Lithium Technology Corp. to become the exclusive distributor of large-format lithium-ion batteries and cells to the defense and aerospace markets.
In addition, EnerSys will market Lithium Technology’s products to the reserve power and renewable energy markets on a non-exclusive basis.
The companies expect to finalize the agreement over the next few months.
