AIM Global (Warrendale, Pa.), the trade association recognized as the worldwide authority on automatic identification and mobility, has announced the election of James S. Childress, president and general manager of LXE Inc. (Norcross, Ga.), as its chairman of the board of directors. Childress succeeds Tom Miller of Intermec, Inc., Everett, Washington.
