The capacity generated through the contracts with Allegheny Power, Baltimore Gas and Electric, Delmarva Power and Light Co., and Potomac Electric Power Co. will be enrolled in the PJM Interconnection Emergency Load Response program.
In November 2008, the Maryland Public Service Commission (PSC) directed the four utilities to issue requests for proposals for additional capacity to address the possibility of supply inadequacies between 2011 and 2016.
The PSC awarded EnerNoc more than 60% of the total capacity granted in its final order. The resulting four contracts that EnerNoc signed each cover the 2011/12 through 2014/15 PJM delivery years.
Since the beginning of 2009, EnerNoc has signed contracts with seven utilities.
