Organizations are able to set their daily shipping cut off times within the FastPic4 software creating different levels of priority. When a wave of orders are processed to be picked, it is automatically sorted into batches, and will automatically present the orders with the soonest cut off times first to help assure deadlines are met.
The hot pick functionality of FastPic4 allows organizations to suspend current batch picking operations with a click of a button and then process last minute orders to meet unsuspected orders which require immediate shipping.
All orders are passed electronically and are immediately available for pick processing, eliminating the manual or paper processing time and increasing throughput and accuracy. When used in conjunction with pick to light technology and/or automated storage and retrieval equipment (VLM's, vertical and horizontal carousels) the process increases to even greater efficiencies.
Designed to be installed quickly and cost effectively, FastPic4 can be used stand alone or integrated. A suite of middleware and custom interfaces allows FastPic4 to easily communicate with most existing host WMS and ERP systems. Features such as bar code scanning, bulk storage management, paper pick lists, pick banding, continuous batch picking, and a myriad of supervisory reports and options are also available.
