EDEN PRAIRIE, Minn.–HighJump Software, a publisher of supply chain execution applications, purchased the rights for Insight Distribution Software from Coaxis Inc., a Portland, Ore.-based vertical-market software developer.
The move comes just two months after it acquired Beltek Systems Design, concentrating HighJump’s position as a leading software provider in the direct store delivery market.
According to HighJump, Insight provides enterprise applications for the food and beverage distribution industries, and its product suite includes the RouteCenter, RoutePad and Playbook applications. HighJump said leading beer makers Anheuser-Busch and the Miller Brewing Co. both rate Insight a strategic partner.
“The Insight product suite provides food and beverage distributors robust functionality on a flexible platform and is highly rated by both Anheuser-Busch and Miller Brewing Company,” said Timothy Campbell, president and CEO of HighJump Software.
HighJump Software vice president of marketing and strategy, Chad Collins, said this purchase has enabled the company to fill gaps in their portfolio. “We’ve been listening to our customers and they’ve been asking for a product like this. We’re fortunate to be in a position that allows us to grow our core business and do it profitably.”
HighJump’s recent acquisitions have added 136 customers to the company’s existing 480 customers.
