China Lift Truck Expert to Attend ITA Meeting

WASHINGTON—Lu Daming, president of the Beijing Material Handling Research Institute (China Industrial Truck Association) will join prominent lift truck industry leaders at the 17th annual Presidents’ Forum, which will be held as part of the 2008 Industrial Truck Association (ITA) annual meeting.

Daming, along with FEM IV President Gordon Riske (Kion), JIVA President Tadashi Ishikawa (Toyota) and ITA President Stan Simpson (Kalmar RT), will share insights during the forum. The ITA annual meeting will be held Oct. 2-5 at the Fairmont Scottsdale Princess Resort in Scottsdale, Ariz.

“Mr. Lu’s participation recognizes the importance of the Chinese lift truck market and the fact that China is now the second-largest, single-country market in the world,” says Candyce P. Anderson, assistant to the executive director of the ITA.
