Nestle USA (Glendale, Calif.) will build a $359 million, 880,000 sq.-ft. factory and distribution center in Anderson, Ind. About 40 miles northeast of Indianapolis, the facility will produce Nesquik Ready-To-Drink And Nestle Coffee-Mate Liquid products. With construction beginning early next year, when the combined facilities open they will employ nearly 300 employees.

Nestle’s site selection committee chose Anderson because of its central location and the feeling that its welcoming environment would be a good place for Nestle employees and their families to live, said Steve Presley, vice president and general manager for Ready-to-Drink beverages.
