SpeedShield has developed the “plug-n-play” forklift scale for Caterpillar and Mitsubishi forklifts! The FLEET WEIGH system has a C/M wiring harness and installation kit that makes installation in less than an hour a reality. This heavy duty module can be fitted for virtually any forklift on the market with only minor modifications. The easy to read LCD display is mounted for maximum visibility for the driver.
The wire connectors match standard MCFA ignition switch plugs and hydraulic fittings that match load weight sensors with existing C/M hydraulic fittings. Utilizing existing holes in the overhead guard, the SSVM module bolts to uprights and wiring is feed through tube and chassis openings for a seamless installation.
Similar installation can be done on some Hyster and Yale products, with readily available plug modifications and hydraulic fittings, installation can be completed within the 1 hour time frame.
Installation kits designed for Toyota, Nissan, Clark, and other forklift manufacturers are planned for the near future.
Calibration and set up is done without a computer or special tools. The kit is fully contained. The Fleet Weigh System for these models is in stock in our US facility and available for next day shipping.
Available options for this system include over load alarm, speed monitor, over speed alert, prestart checklist, driver ID, engine time out, shelf height and tilt monitor/display, and impact monitor/alert. Blue tooth communications and programmed PDA provide reporting capabilities of monitored items.
