Raymond Offers Cash Incentives for Lift Truck Upgrades

Sept. 15, 2009
As part of its Lift Truck Incentive For Trade (LIFT) program, the Raymond Corp. will provide cash incentives to warehouse and distribution center managers who upgrade their existing lift truck fleets by purchasing more efficient equipment.

The program applies to existing Raymond and non-Raymond lift trucks that are at least 12 years old. Cash incentives vary depending on the make and model of the lift truck being traded. Trucks traded in through the LIFT program will be recycled.

“New lift trucks can enable companies to improve productivity and energy efficiency for reduced total cost of ownership,” says Joe Ginnetti, vice president of sales for Raymond. “For example, Raymond’s exclusive ACR system, found on most new Raymond models, features a brushless motor that requires little maintenance. A regenerative lowering feature, found on new Raymond 9000 Series Swing-Reach lift trucks, recharges the lift truck battery when the forks are lowered to increase battery life.”

Companies can take advantage of the program by calling their local Raymond Sales and Service Center or visiting the Raymond Corp. web site.

The LIFT program starts now and runs until March 31, 2010.
