Purolator International, subsidiary of Canada’s Purolator Inc., announced the opening of a new Minneapolis/MSP facility as part of its US/International expansion. The Minneapolis branch offers comprehensive cross border logistics services for shipments traveling between the United States’ Central Region and Canada. John Wilson, a Minnesota resident and a board member of the Midwest Global Trade Associations (MGTA), has been named Branch Manager, and will head up the new office.
“There’s a vast amount of cross-border trade between Canada, Minneapolis and the entire Central Region,” said John Costanzo, president of Purolator International. “This new branch location will provide Purolator with a direct access to the Canadian border and offer global supply chain solutions for area businesses that ship to and from the Canadian market. Minneapolis is our fourth branch opening in 2011 so far, with recent openings in San Francisco, Boston and Salt Lake City.”
