Con-Way Sells Its Expedited Transport Unit

Part of Con-Way’s Expedite & Brokerage business unit, Panther is purchasing only Expedite’s current operation, customers and owner-operator fleet. Brokerage will remain as part of Con-Way Transportation. The transaction is expected to be completed in the third quarter of this year.

The acquisition by Panther complements its core business and expands its network of dedicated expedite service contractor to nearly 1,900 straight trucks, cargo vans and tractor-trailers as well as increasing its account base.
