Key factors contributing to the Netherlands’ competitive edge are terms of employment, regulatory and customs environments, competitive transport rates and the availability of intermodal transport solutions, says the study.
The study also revealed that transport tariffs to and from the Netherlands are lower than in the other European countries surveyed. The strength of the Dutch harbors and airports, the abundance of European transport services from the Netherlands and the central location within the European market make the country more financially competitive.
