TranSystems, a transportation management consulting company based in Kansas City, Mo., and
ESYNC, a supply chain consulting firm in Toledo, Ohio, plan to merge. ESYNC management and staff will reportedly be retained, including ESYNC principals and co-founders, John Sidell and Jim McNerney.
"Given the ever-increasing demands that the global economy brings, this is absolutely the right time for this move," said John Sidell. "TranSystems has a deep bench of international supply chain expertise, and that, combined with ESYNC's breadth and depth of technical and operational talent, will add value to our clients' global supply chains."
"ESYNC's tremendous experience with supply chain operations and technical implementations is a vital link in TranSystems' growth plan for the supply chain group, and a meaningful bridge to our xisting transportation capabilities and expertise," added Brian Larson, TransSystems president and CEO. "We look forward to the knowledge, resources and market leadership the addition of ESYNC."
