Global Mission Asks, Can You Hear Me Now?

April 16, 2009
More a proof of concept than an actual tracking exercise, EMS Sky Connect will follow a Cessna CJ2 as it circles the globe.

When Jared Isaacman and Doug Demko departed Morristown Airport on April 12, 2009, their goal was to break a light-jet record for circling the globe and to rais money for the Make-A-Wish Foundation. The two New Jersey-based pilots will carry an Iridium satellite telephone and tracking system which is expected to provide seamless coverage as they circle the globe.
