How to Adjust Your Supply Chain to a Quickly Changing Economy

May 21, 2025
Suketu Gandhi, partner and chair of strategic operations with Kearney, offers advice on how to deal with supply chain disruptions in this new era of tariffs.

Taking action during turbulent times is the only path to success for supply chains. However, a recent survey, Beyond survival: the new operational playbook separating leaders from Laggards in 2025, authored by global consultancy Kearney found that while 67% of 120 senior operations leaders said their companies need to address geographic risk, only 47% had actually taken steps to do so.

MH&L talked with the author of the survey Suketu Gandhi, and Kearney’s Global Strategic Operations and Performance co-lead, about putting the current situation in perspective. He offers practical advice on how to navigate both the current situation and future disruptions.
