Business Census 'Indispensable'

Over 4 million US businesses will receive 2007 Economic Census forms in DecemberIncluded are 180,000 transportation and warehousing businesses.

Responses to the questionnaires are required by law under Title 13 of the US CodeThe deadline for returning completed forms is February 12, 2008.

Acknowledging the burden the process places on businesses, the US Dept. of Commerce Census Bureau has created a special Web page to explain the Economic Census and provide statistics to help businesses assess and grow their businesses.
