JLG Industries Inc. has introduced three new features to its ClearSky Smart Fleet IoT (Internet of Things) platform. The latest enhancements, including the Digital Analyzer Reader, Automatic Site Networks and Elevation-Based Localization, address how fleet managers monitor, manage and maintain their equipment.
Key features of the Digital Analyzer Reader include: wireless accessibility; enhanced data visualization; improved information sharing; global usability; and instant updates.
By leveraging Bluetooth mesh technology, the Automatic Site Networks feature enables: automated machine integration; continuous location tracking; proximity-based alerts; and scalability for all fleet sizes.
Utilizing barometric pressure sensors embedded in ClearSky Smart Fleet beacons, the Elevation-Based Localization feature allows users to: identify equipment by elevation; enhance efficiency in inventory management; simplify service calls; enable over-the-air activation.
