Palletizing Robots

KUKA has introduced new palletizing robots to its heavy-duty portfolio with the launch of the KR FORTEC PA and the KR FORTEC ultra PA family.

The KR FORTEC PA is a high-performance palletizing robot, with a payload of up to 500 kg and extended reach. It is suitable for a range of palletizing tasks, from stacking small beverage cans to arranging 200-liter drums. Due to the modularization, identical spare parts from the KR FORTEC, KR QUANTEC and KR FORTEC ultra robot models can be used to save on storage costs.

The KR FORTEC ultra PA heavy-duty palletizing robot can lift loads of up to 800 kg and can be used in various industries, including the construction sector, where it can be used to palletize heavy stones. It is also suitable for gripping a whole layer of large beverage bottles. Its double link arm ensures increased stiffness and precision at a reduced weight. The KR FORTEC ultra PA also has a modular design, which reduces the costs of storing spare parts.

Both robots can be installed on the configurable linear axes – the KR FORTEC PA on the KL 4000 and the KR FORTEC ultra PA on the KL 5000, which can increase workspace to up to 31 meters.
