Extended Range Barcode Scanner
WEROCK Technologies has expanded its portfolio of Rockscan PX3000 barcode scanners with a new variant that offers a compromise between standard range and extended range scan engines. The new Rockscan PX3000 Long Range variant with the Rockscan TM2038LR 1D/2D code scanning engine offers flexibility at a wide range of scanning distances.
The Rockscan PX3000 Long Range offers a wide working range from a few centimeters to a scanning range of 10 meters. This makes the scanner suitable for logistics applications, such as capturing pallets or storage locations from a greater distance, as well as for industrial scenarios where serial or part numbers need to be read from close range.
In challenging environments with hard-to-read or low-contrast barcodes, the dual camera system provides reliable scanning results—even in poor lighting conditions. The housing of the Rockscan PX3000 with IP68 protection and high drop resistance also enhances its use in demanding industrial conditions.
