Large-Screen Rugged Tablets for Logistics
DT Research has introduced the DA323EP GMS-enabled Android rugged tablet, a new class of large-screen rugged mobility for real-time logistics and warehouse workflows.
With Google Mobile Services (GMS) built in, the DA323EP provides access to Google applications and enterprise tools, enabling app-driven operations for tracking, navigation, communication, and data capture across the supply chain. With GMS certification, the DA323EP provides native access to Google applications such as Maps, Gmail, and Drive, while supporting enterprise Zero-Touch, Google Play Protect enabled Mobile Device Management (MDM) and ensuring app compatibility and ongoing security updates. It also allows workers to use familiar tools for tasks like routing, while enabling IT teams to centrally deploy, manage and update applications at scale.
The DA323EP supports point-to-point tracking of goods and drivers, enabling organizations to monitor movement in real time using GPS-enabled applications and cloud-based platforms. The DA323EP captures location data and workflow timestamps, enabling organizations to better track loading and unloading events, helping ensure drivers are properly compensated for time spent waiting at docks, which is an important factor in optimizing fleet efficiency and driver satisfaction.
With built-in wireless connectivity and optional 4G LTE, the DA323EP tablet ensures continuous communication between drivers, dispatch, and backend systems, reducing delays and improving operational transparency.
