RobCo has introduced Autonomous Alfie, an industrial robot designed to automate tasks that involve variability, sensitivity and changing inputs.
Autonomous Alfie combines bimanual manipulation with integrated hardware and software across perception and execution. Alfie can handle such tasks as precision assembly, as well as material handling and intralogistics processes such as picking, kitting and palletizing.
The system is designed to operate in dynamic environments, continuously improving over time and adapting to new objects, workflows and conditions without the need for extensive manual programming.
