Transfer Roller
Roach Conveyors has introduced the CrossX Easy Transfer Roller, which converts a standard roller conveyor section into a bidirectional diverting solution while keeping the existing conveyor frame in place.
Designed as a drop-in replacement for 1.9″ O.D. grooved rollers, CrossX installs into any brand of compatible conveyor frame with no frame modifications required. This bidirectional roller system is designed for parcel and package handling environments where workers frequently push items across conveyor lines.
By replacing only the roller, CrossX provides an alternative to removing an existing roller section and replacing it with a TRT belt conveyor. CrossX enables smooth, controlled lateral movement of cartons, totes and irregular loads while reducing manual push effort. It also supports product reorientation similar to a ball transfer, making it suitable for manual transfer zones, sortation support areas, intersecting conveyor lines, and operator-assisted package handling.
