Clustag has launched COS Tunnel, an open‑architecture RFID tunnel designed to be integrated onto existing conveyors and to facilitate the automatic verification of boxes, bags or parcels in logistics environments.

COS Tunnel is configurable in width, height and operating layout. It incorporates a control system for the RF emission and RFID reading zone, which focuses the reading on the parcel transit area and improves process reliability in logistics environments, connecting the information with the user’s systems—WMS, ERP, WCS or WES—through the ZENTUP data capture platform.

The solution is suitable for inbound goods flows, outbound shipment validation, e‑commerce order preparation, as well as projects in existing installations (brownfield) where it is essential to avoid conveyor cuts or major modifications to the line. Its performance is configured according to the variables of each application, such as conveyor speed, parcel density, spacing between boxes and working‑environment conditions.
