Continuing its changing-of-names tradition, Mitsubishi Logisnext Americas (MLA), a provider of forklifts material handling solutions, plans to transition its identity to Logisnext Americas. Long-time MH&L readers will recall that via transactions, mergers and brand updates, Logisnext had previously been known under, or been a part of, such identities as Nissan Forklift, Toyo Carriers, Mitsubishi Caterpillar and UniCarriers.

This latest name change will be guided by the “Logisnext Vision 2035,” which includes a partnership with Japan Industrial Partners (JIP) to support sustainable growth and long-term value creation. All group companies will begin adopting the new company name as of April 30.

The company's existing Mitsubishi Forklift Trucks portfolio will be rebranded to Logisnext Forklifts. All current support and service structures will remain in place, ensuring uninterrupted operations.

Mitsubishi Logisnext Americas is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Mitsubishi Logisnext Co. Ltd., based in Japan.
