Crown Equipment Corp. (New Bremen , Ohio) introduces ThermoAssist and Thermo Assist+lift truck accessories designed for cold-storage warehouse environments. ThermoAssist, designed for reach trucks in freezer environments, includes pad heaters for the operator’s back and arm, a console enclosure and a mast air deflector that redirects air away from the operator.
The second product in the line, ThermoAssist+, directs warm air to the multi-task handle and steer tiller through adjustable vents. A leg and foot warmer is also available on certain models.
Crown says the ThermoAssist and ThermoAssist+ products offer an alternative to add-on cabs, which can limit visibility, mobility and communication between operators.
