enVista, a supply chain consulting services firm, has entered into a reseller agreement with Contech Systems, Inc., providers of the DataManager warehouse control system. enVista will resell the system under the name, enMotion.

“The activities within the four walls of the warehouse and distribution center are complex, time-sensitive and impact customer service,” said enVista’s president and CEO Jim Barnes. “One of the gaps we continue to see in companies’ supply chains is the ability to control systems and processes in these facilities in realtime. Contech’s WCS acts as a hub or ‘central nervous system,’ integrating and optimizing people, processes and technology within the four walls.”

The system is currently used in more than 150 U.S. distribution centers.
